Renaissance

Situated in the ancient city of Xi’an and provincial capital of Shaanxi, guests can experience elements of Chinese culture as seen through the interior spaces. Comprising 396 rooms and suites with modern, curated furnishings and fixtures mixed with vibrant jewel tones and bold shapes, this first Renaissance-branded hotel in northwestern China has many small, enticing, and surprising details for guests to discover.

The interior design team drew inspiration from the geometric configurations of the classic Chinese game, Tangram, which consists of seven varied geometric shapes forming various patterns. This motif is carried throughout the property, in the architecture, furniture pieces, art in the public spaces, guestrooms and restaurants.

With interiors developed by the Singapore studio of Wilson Associates, CD+M provided lighting design for the public areas and guestroom interiors of this fantastic property.
