Emory University Convocation Hall

Constructed more than a century ago as one of the first two buildings on Emory University’s Atlanta campus, Convocation Hall was meticulously restored to its classic Italian Renaissance style by Collins Cooper Carusi Architects, whom simultaneously incorporated modern technological and design upgrades.

The building provides space for the offices of the president, advancement and alumni engagement, business and administration, the vice president and secretary, general counsel, and communications and public affairs. CD+M designed lighting for both interiors and exteriors of this stunning example of Atlanta history. The project received the ENR Southeast Award in 2019 for Best Renovation/Restoration.
