Acclaimed as an environmental redevelopment of the former Atlantic Steel Mill site, Atlantic Station is a sprawling mixed-use destination in downtown Atlanta. The development is comprised of 12 million square-feet of retail, office, residential and hotel space as well as 11 acres of public parks and green space.
CD+M Principal Ted Ferreira provided facade and site lighting for Atlantic Station’s 800,000 square-foot Retail District in collaboration with Atlanta-based KLG. Paying homage to the development’s factory roots, the Retail District provides 150,000 square-feet of office space and more than 300 residential lofts above the street-level retail units, as well as outdoor pedestrian walkways, fountains and public common areas.
