Since 2001, The Bullock Texas State History Museum in downtown Austin has been engaging audiences, to interpret for themselves, the continually unfolding "Story of Texas." One of the most popular attractions in Central Texas, the Museum has been visited by over 5 million people and features the immersive special-effects story on Texas history and culture in the Texas Spirit Theater produced by the acclaimed LA-based design firm BRC Imagination Arts.
Historic events such as the Galveston Hurricane of 1900, a gusher exploding from an East Texas oil derrick and the takeoff of Saturn V as seen from Mission Control at the Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center come to life with sets, sound, and amazing special effects. CD+M designed and supplied the interior and exhibit lighting systems.
