The Titanic Museum opened in 2006 and is shaped like the Titanic itself, but built at half-scale to the original. It is anchored in a permanent body of water designed to recreate the illusion of the Titanic at sea, and owned by John Joslyn, acclaimed television producer and co-leader of the 1987 dive on the site of the Titanic.
The museum holds 400 artifacts in 20 galleries and the ninety-minute, self-guided tour is designed to give guests the sensation of being an original passenger on Titanic’s 1912 maiden voyage. CD+M designed and supplied the interior, exterior and exhibit lighting systems for this highly popular destination in the city of Branson.
