New Projects, New Team Members in Dallas, Los Angeles and Dubai
"We are pleased to announce that CD+M was selected as lighting consultant for several high profile projects since the start of the year", notes Atlanta-based Principal Designer Ted Ferreira.  "In Beijing, PRC, we are designing the new headquarters of one of the world's leading electronics manufacturers, in Al Ain, UAE, a grand mosque which will be among the largest in the Middle East, and in Chicago, USA, the interior fit-out of 500,000+ sq ft commercial office space, one of the largest leases signed in the Windy City in the past decade."

These and other exciting projects have created new opportunities to expand our worldwide team, and in Los Angeles, Ms. Anna Martin has joined CD+M as a Designer.  Ms. Martin was most recently employed by Thinkwell Group in Los Angeles and has both an MFA in Lighting Design from CalArts and a BA in theater from Wesleyan University.  She is proficient in both Spanish and Portuguese with hands-on experience in console programming, theatrical fixtures and numerous arts software applications.

In Dallas, Ms. Jennifer Curley and Mr. Chris Shook accepted staff positions as Associate and Production Manager, respectively.  Ms. Curley has a BS/MS in Architectural Engineering from Penn State and over 7 years of experience with Horton Lees Brogden and the Lighting Workshop, designing for a wide variety of market sectors including hospitality, cultural, retail and institutional.  Mr. Shook has served as a CAD Manager and technical designer in the architectural field for over 5 years, most recently for Wilson Associates and prior to that, with Duncan and Miller Design, both leading interior design firms in the U.S., Asia and the Middle East.

In Dubai, Ms. Courtney Mark has joined CD+M as an Associate and Mr. Matthew Sorianosos as Designer.  Ms. Mark has a BFA in interior design from Pratt Institute and over a decade of experience first managing the New Delhi studio for AWA Lighting Design, specializing in commercial, residential and hospitality projects and then as a senior designer with Reveal Design Group in New York.
Mr. Sorianosos has a degree in architecture and has worked in Dubai for 5+ years, with significant experience in visualization, CAD management and modeling.

"With five registered offices across the U.S., China and the United Arab Emirates, CD+M is among the largest independent lighting consulting firms globally, and we are very fortunate to be able to present such a talented and diverse team to our clients, worldwide" says Marc Rosenberg, Principal Designer in Los Angeles.
